BACKGROUND
The Bonnywood Manor Collective is a group of writers, bloggers, artists, visionaries and their supporters living in peaceful harmony among the rolling hills of the Bonnywood Manor complex, where art reigns supreme, we lovingly torment one another, and cocktails are served, just in case you want one.
This community was founded on the belief that all writers are unique and special, even if it's sometimes challenging to understand why they do the insipid things that they do, with the self-agonizing and the angst and the random acerbic post. In tandem, the appreciative readers who toss about laurels of word-smithing gratitude are just as revered at Bonnywood as the writers. Of course, everyone still has to account for their drink tab.
And yes, we do have a nightly ritual wherein we gather round the campfire, join hands, and perform extravagant line dances about the written word. Afterwards, some folks choose to run off and frolic lustily in the nearby grotto, but we shant look askance on such activity, because the artistic nature should not be restricted in any way. Expression, in all forms, should not be denied.

THE BOARDWALK - This is the main entertainment junction at our complex, where large and diverse crowds gather daily for socializing, education and chaste flirting. Due to the exciting range of cultures and life experiences found here, you never know quite what you are going to find on The Boardwalk, and that's the whole point.
THE BIJOU - Our beloved theater, where you can find embedded and linked examples of that exciting new art form, The Talking Picture. You can also review amusing and critical commentary based on the delightful visuals.
THE GROTTO - Our progressive collective fully understands that baser needs must be met to ensure one's mental health, and we have set aside this romantic, dimly-lit bit of forest for the pursuit of lustier avenues. Here you may find passionate letters between lovers, stories of yearning and abandonment, ribald anecdotes concerning the awkwardness of pursuing physical pleasure, dissatisfactions with past and current partners, and the occasional drool-worthy tribute to an unattainable god or goddess.
THE CIGAR ROOM - Herein you will find all manner of political discussions, social commentary, and invectives of outrage directed at or about misbehaving public figures. It's not nearly as dry as the description may seem, with lots of refreshing humor splashed about, but it should come as no surprise that most of the visitors to The Cigar Room lean decidedly to the left. But you just might be surprised at what you find.
THE PUB - Although there are many establishments at our complex that serve fine wines and spirits, it is no secret that The Pub serves the most array of cocktails, a rainbow of delicious concoctions served with healthy dollops of humor. The whole point of visiting The Pub is to laugh and have a good time. If you aren't chuckling whilst here, you're doing something incorrectly. Please signal your server for a stronger beverage.
THE ATTIC - Bonnywood Manor has a very storied past, a complex history of personalities and events, some of them shocking in nature, others moving and passionate. All of these stories have been gathering dust in the attic over the original inn on the property, as we simply haven't had the time to organize all the papers and letters. But we promise to go through them all at some point, and we will regularly publish the more fascinating tales here in The Attic.
THE VICTROLA - It's well known that music soothes the savage beast (unless that beast spent too much time at The Pub last evening) and we heartily support that concept. In The Attic, you will find all things music, including links, reviews, commentary, discussions, and fervent support of otherwise obscure melodious output.
THE ITINERARY - Bonnywood Manor, although an indisputably fine and extraordinary place to visit, is not the only travel destination of worth. In The Intinerary, we share stories of our many adventures and amusing larks throughout the world.
